Title and Author: Alora: The Portal by Tamie Dearem

Reason for choice of rating: Several battle scenes including significant injuries and death and some torture scenes while not extremely graphic might still be troubling for younger or more sensitive audiences.
Wonderful continuation of a series filled with intense action and romance.
The battle between Stone Clan and Vindrake heats up and many lives are at risk. A number of new characters are introduced adding many intriguing relationships to be explored.
Alora and Kaevin's relationship hits some rocks but matures in amazing ways while staying pure and sweet (still no gropping, inappropriate touching or other nasty stuff to read about - way to keep it clean Tamie - big Thank you!)
I also found the many expressions of thanks to God and reliance on God by different characters throughout the story to be refreshing. No preaching; just simple statements of faith.
I am eagerly moving on to read book 3 in the series and am glad to hear that book 4 is being written.
